U.S. Rep. Greg Steube made clear in a series of tweets he will vote against articles of impeachment against President Donald Trump.
“Let me be clear: impeachment is nothing more than a political vendetta,” Steube wrote. “We could have spent the last several months working to fix problems facing everyday Americans, but instead, we wasted time on this charade.”
U.S. Rep. Greg Steube voted against both articles of impeachment Friday during a historic meeting of the House Judiciary Committee.
The Sarasota Republican joined all of his GOP colleagues on the committee in opposing the effort to impeach President Donald Trump. Steube put out a statement immediately afterward denouncing the proceedings.
