Steube Weighs In on Proposed Changes to the Lake Okeechobee Regulation Schedule
VENICE, FLORIDA—Congressman Greg Steube (R-Fla.) sent an official comment to Colonel Andrew Kelly, Jacksonville District Commander of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, regarding the proposed changes to the Lake Okeechobee Regulation Schedule. In the letter, Steube urged the Corps to consider requests from local counties on how the lake should be regulated and requested restraint when lowering lake levels due to concerns of drought.
