Steube Holds Virtual Town Hall with the North Port Area Chamber of Commerce to Give Washington Update
NORTH PORT, FLA.— U.S. Representative Greg Steube (R-Fla.) yesterday held a virtual town hall with the North Port Area Chamber of Commerce via Facebook Live to give an update on COVID-19 relief in Washington, D.C. and more.
“Thankfully, a lot of the COVID-19 relief infrastructure was put into place before the Biden Administration took over with Operation Warp Speed going in full force,” Steube said. “We will continue to work alongside our federal, state, and local partners to ensure that the Sunshine State has all necessary resources for a full-fledged recovery.”
During the discussion, Steube shared that Florida is slated to receive over 300,400 first doses and 340,000 second doses of the COVID-19 vaccines this week.
Among other topics discussed were developments in the Paycheck Protection Program for small businesses and potential stimulus packages.
