Rep. Greg Steube Blasts FEMA Administrator on Capitol Hill Over Agency Discrimination Against Trump Supporters

WASHINGTON – U.S. Representative Greg Steube (R-Fla.) blasted Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Administrator Deanne Criswell on Capitol Hill Tuesday amid her testimony of agency political discrimination against Trump supporters in the aftermath of Florida’s hurricanes.

Watch Rep. Steube’s Hearing Remarks Here.

“That explains why FEMA has never stopped at my house over the six hurricanes we’ve had…I check 3 boxes!

✅ Trump Supporter

✅ White Male

✅ Cowboy!

This is the exact type of weaponization that put President Trump back in the White House….thank God President Trump won, and he can restore this department into what it should be, nonpartisan, helping every American that’s been affected by a disaster, said Rep. Steube.

Background:
According to FEMA, an agency employee was fired after instructing FEMA staff to avoid homes displaying signs in support of President Trump while canvassing Florida neighborhoods for disaster recovery assistance. Rep. Steube sent a letter to FEMA on November 15th demanding answers about the fired employee’s claims that this practice was not isolated and that she was following FEMA’s protocol of “avoidance” at homes with Trump signage.
