Rep. Greg Steube Announces U.S. Service Academy Nominations
SARASOTA, Fla. – U.S. Representative Greg Steube (R-Fla.) today announced the nomination of seventeen students in Florida’s 17th Congressional District to the U.S. Service Academies: the U.S. Military Academy (USMA) in West Point, NY, the U.S. Naval Academy (USNA) in Annapolis, MD, the U.S. Air Force Academy (USAFA) in Colorado Springs, CO, and the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy (USMMA) in Kings Point, NY. The U.S. Coast Guard Academy (USCGA) in New London, CT, is the fifth service academy and does not require a congressional nomination.
“One of my highest honors as a Member of Congress is nominating students from Florida’s 17th Congressional District to our U.S. Service Academies. Today, I’m nominating seventeen talented students who will represent our district well should they be selected to serve our country in this way,” said U.S. Representative Greg Steube.
