Steube Announces Deadline for Military Academy Nomination Requests
VENICE, FLA. —The Office of U.S. Representative Greg Steube (R-Fla.) is accepting nomination applications for our nation’s service academies until September 14, 2020. A Congressional nomination is required for students wishing to enter the United States Military Academy, the United States Naval Academy, the United States Air Force Academy, and the United States Merchant Marine Academy.
“One of my greatest honors as your Congressional Representative is to nominate bright young men and women to our nation’s service academies,” Steube said. “Those who choose the path toward service for our country are an inspiration every day and I am pleased to see such strong representation from the 17th District in military academies across the country.”
Nomination packets can be found on Steube’s website along with more information about the application process.
All applications must be mailed to the following address by September 14, 2020:

There will be no exceptions made for late applications. Interviews will be conducted in early October, and individuals who receive an appointment will be notified in mid-October.
