Steube Joins Colleagues in Letter to President Trump Urging a DOJ Investigation into Irregularities in the 2020 Election

WASHINGTON, D.C.—U.S. Representative Greg Steube (R-Fla.) joined colleagues in sending a letter to President Trump urging him to direct Attorney General Barr to appoint a Special Counsel to investigate irregularities in the 2020 election.

“Every single allegation of fraud should be thoroughly investigated, and anyone found unlawfully interfering in our electoral process should be held criminally accountable.” Steube said. “From potentially thousands of uncounted ballots being found in Georgia, to instances of deceased people voting in New York City, it is clear that the integrity of our elections and even our system of government is at stake.”

Despite dozens of accounts of voter fraud, an investigation has not yet been opened at the Department of Justice. Many instances of suspicious activity have been reported, including almost 2,600 that were not tallied on election night in Floyd County, Georgia, and reports showing that ballots were mailed into the New York City Board of Elections in the name of dead voters.
