Steube Seeks Interns for Opportunity in Washington, D.C. Office
WASHINGTON, D.C.—U.S. Representative Greg Steube (R-Fla.) is seeking highly motivated interns for Spring of 2022 in his Washington, D.C. office.
“My office is excited to announce that we are seeking interns for our Washington, D.C. office,” Steube said. “One of my greatest honors in Congress is to provide opportunities for bright young students to learn and serve our country. I am looking forward to inviting a new class of interns to serve our district in Washington, D.C.”
In the Washington D.C. office, the hours are flexible to accommodate students’ course schedules but generally run 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. when Congress is in session and 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. when not in session. Ideal candidates will have a strong work ethic, strong written and verbal communication skills, and a positive attitude. Florida ties are preferred.
Intern responsibilities may include: answering phones, running errands, researching legislation for the Member and legislative staff, attending hearings and briefings, answering constituent letters on various issues before the House of Representatives, and more. Steube’s internship program provides students with invaluable exposure to the legislative process and the inner workings of a Congressional office.
The deadline for applications is Friday, November 5th.
