Steube Statement on the Killing of Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi
WASHINGTON, D.C.—Today, Congressman Greg Steube (R-Fla.) released the following statement on the killing of Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi:
“I want to commend President Trump and our special operation soldiers for the killing of Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi. This mission has been a tremendous success for the United States and our allies around the globe who stand with us in the fight against terror. Our world is safer now that he has been eliminated and the caliphate has been destroyed. Let this serve as a reminder to ISIS and terrorists around the world that if you wish to spread hate and terror the US will find you and justice will prevail. I would like to thank those brave servicemembers for their actions on this successful mission and commend the President for his dedication to protecting America from enemies at home and abroad.”
