Rep. Greg Steube Demands Information from DHS on Illegal Immigrant Arrested for Rape in Charlotte County

WASHINGTON — U.S. Representative Greg Steube (R-Fla.) today sent a letter to Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas demanding information on Santo Felix Cruz-Ramos, a 25-year-old illegal immigrant reportedly from Honduras. Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office arrested Cruz-Ramos on charges of sexual battery in Englewood, Florida after a woman stated to the Sheriff’s office that she had been raped.

Santo Felix Cruz-Ramos, 25, was arrested at a hotel in the west coast town of Englewood on Sunday after the victim came forward and hotel security footage showed him running from the victim’s hotel room. “Cruz-Ramos was later identified to authorities by the bright yellow jacket seen in the hotel security camera footage,” local news outlet WINK reported. The news earned the attention of Rep. Greg Steube (R-FL), who represents the district where the incident took place.

GB News – Prince Harry could be “swiftly removed from the United States” by a Republican president if the Duke has lied on his visa application about his drug use, the director of a think tank has claimed.

GOP rep’s bill would confiscate assets from drug cartels to fund border wall, tackle fentanyl crisis

Fox News – Rep. Greg Steube, R-Fla., an original cosponsor of the bill, said that the fentanyl epidemic is “directly linked to our open border.”

“Since the Biden administration has failed at properly addressing these two crises, Congress must use innovative solutions to help secure our country. The Build the Wall and Fight Fentanyl Act provides a path to dedicate seized assets from traffickers towards making our nation safer,” he said in a statement.
