ICYMI: Rep. Steube Meets with Members of North Port’s Ukrainian Community

NORTH PORT, Fla. — U.S. Representative Greg Steube (R-Fla.) last week met with members of North Port’s Ukrainian community. Rep. Steube joined Yuri Kaplan, a former Refugee Resettlement Director of Ukrainian Family Reunification Cases and his wife, Julia, Pastor Jay Sheppard of Tri-City Baptist Church and his wife, Trina, several community volunteers, as well as Ukrainian families who have fled the country due to the Russian invasion.

Steube, Pappas, McClain, & McNerney Lead More Than 100 Bipartisan Members in Call to Ensure Long-Term Care for Veterans Suffering from TBIs

WASHINGTON— Today, U.S. Representative Greg Steube (R-Fla.) alongside Representatives Chris Pappas (D-N.H.), Lisa McClain (R-Mich.), and Jerry McNerney (D-Calif.), led 113 of their colleagues in a bipartisan call to ensure adequate care for veterans suffering from severe traumatic brain injuries (TBIs) who require long-term residential care.

House Republicans File Discharge Petition for Steube Bill to Protect Women’s Sports

WASHINGTON— Today, U.S. Representative Greg Steube (FL-17) and Republican Study Committee Chairman Jim Banks filed a discharge petition for Rep. Steube’s bill, H.R.426, the Protection of Women and Girls in Sports Act of 2021. Rep. Steube’s legislation ensures that women and girls are allowed a fair playing field in competitive sports by ensuring that school athletics comply with the Title IX recognition of a person’s reproductive biology and genetics at birth.
