STEUBE: One year after Hurricane Ian, the Suncoast still needs help. Congress must step up.

SARASOTA HERALD-TRIBUNE — On Sept. 28, 2022, the Suncoast experienced the devastation of Hurricane Ian. You would have look back generations to identify a storm with more damage to our area than Ian. Steube Calls out Republicans that want to Fund Hostile Foreign Countries

The Floridian – While on the floor of the House of Representatives, Congressman Greg Steube (R-FL) appeared perplexed that any elected official would consider approving the allocation of taxpayer dollars to countries such as Iraq, Lebanon, Palestine, and Ukraine.

“Why would we do that?” Rep. Steube questioned. He even took a jab at his fellow Republicans who claim they want to cut spending while simultaneously maintaining the notion that funding should be sent to the aforementioned nations.

STEUBE AND BANKS: Congress must depoliticize college accreditation standards

Washington Examiner – Wokeness is destroying American universities. Our colleges have become incapable of producing civic virtue and intellectual curiosity in their graduates. And over time, that will make those virtues increasingly rare in America. That frightening prospect is part of what led to the launch of the Anti-Woke Caucus at the start of the 118th Congress. And this June, we introduced the Fairness In Higher Ed Accreditation Act with Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) to strip woke ideologues of one of their most effective tools for influencing college campuses: the accreditation process

GOP Rep. Steube: Hunter Is Claiming the IRS His Dad Added 87,000 Agents and $80 Billion to Is Weaponized

BREITBART – Steube responded, “Yeah. You put 87,000 more IRS agents out there, and you’re going to — they’re going to be going after conservatives and it’s the weaponization of the DOJ. And, again, this is the same — the Democrats are the ones that made Trump’s tax returns public, and there wasn’t — he wasn’t involved in some type of criminal investigation for some type of tax fraud, where you have Hunter Biden, who has committed tax fraud. The IRS investigators will admit that. And there’s [money he owes] the federal government that we’ll never be able to recoup because a weaponized DOJ stalled for long enough so the statute of limitations would [expire], and they wouldn’t have to charge him for that crime.”
